I have already depleted any archaeological dig sites, and I have colonized the planets. This specific relic world seems to always come with the Central Spire planetary feature, and provides 15% additional research from jobs and +8 researcher jobs. Meaning I turn this world into pure science generation, while I build up my economy throughout my other planets. For this, you leave it as a relic world, build city districts as needed for housing, holo theaters as needed for amenities, research labs, and a research institute. As this is a size 25 planet, I would likely convert it into an alloy factory, unless you plan to take the accession perk to make Ecumenopolis from other worlds.Best way to utilize relic worlds before turning them into ecumenopolises is either full research or mining world with rare resources. There Is also a good energy world with C.A.R.E. dig site. Depends on what you need. If you’re unsure, just build a bit of both in balance. All precursor relics have a special project to unlock the secrets. The Grunur special project gives you the Uplift technology, as well as a -15% cost to terraforming. The Uplift technology is almost completely useless, and the -15% cost to terraforming is situational at best.
